About Roy Blizzard III

Roy Blizzard was ordained in 1984 and is the Pastor at Joppa Church in Bertram, Texas. He posts many of his videos, audios and written works online. He completed his B.S. at UT Austin in Radio, TV and Film production in 1980. He received a Masters of Religious Education in 2013 with more than 250 graduate hours in various areas of study such as Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, Archeology, Bible, Geology, Jewish Studies, Talmud, etc., and is a Biblical Scholar, translator and author.

Roy has spoken around the U.S. at numerous churches and seminars and published in 2013 an actual translation of the Gospel of John from Hebrew to English, something that had never been done, go figure? He has written numerous published articles uncovering many translation errors in the Biblical text, and developed a unique distance education course.

Roy III is President and Project Manager of T. I. H. Environmental LLC. and draws upon years of experience and a hands–on background in environmental compliance, construction, remodeling, marketing, and broadcasting. His goal is to provide clients with solutions that are efficient and effective.

His father, Dr. Roy Blizzard Jr. received his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974 in Hebrew Studies and taught for over 20 years on TBN with programs such as Our Jewish Roots, The Quest, etc., and led many study seminars/tours to Israel.

Roy III is happily married over 40 years to his wife Donna who is originally from Long Island, New York. He likes to hunt, fish, garden, study, and work on old cars. They have three daughters and four wonderful grandchildren.
